1. Personal data collected about you and the way it is used and stored
Provexin c/o Norvital AS is responsible for the processing of the personal data you have disclosed to us. When you register as a customer, we request that you provide information about your full name, address, email and phone number. We need this information in order to administer your customer relationship, to send you your orders and to be able to contact you in connection with your customer relationship, if necessary. The information you provide will be stored as long as you have an active customer relationship with us. Norvital AS is obliged to store parts of this information even after the termination of your customer relationship. We are, for example, required to store certain categories of information in connection with accounting, and this information is stored in accordance with the current regulations regarding bookkeeping, etc.
When you provide us with your personal data when placing an order, this personal data is used to handle your specific request. We will also use the data to communicate with you and to personalise our service. We may contact you by telephone, electronic communication and letter unless you have notified us that you do not wish to be contacted. When a customer relationship is terminated, we will continue to store your name, address, email address, telephone number and purchase history in order to contact you by telephone, electronic communication or addressed mail with offers and news about our products that we believe may be of interest, unless you have reserved against such contact in the Reservation register or you have told us that you do not wish to be contacted. We may also personally adapt such inquiries on the basis that this maintains Norvital AS legitimate interest in using marketing that is perceived as relevant by the recipients.
Norvital AS. is obliged, pursuant to the Accounting Act and Bookkeeping Act, to store certain data, including your payment transactions for previous orders, for a period of five years after the end of the financial year. When you make a new order, you agree that Norvital AS may use certain bookkeeping information about your payment history to ensure that you have no outstanding overdue invoices from previous orders, before we approve your new order.
Your personal data may be furthermore used for the following purposes: accounting, invoicing and auditing, payment verifications, administrative and legal purposes, statistics and marketing analysis with a view to improving our services, the website and user experience, development and maintenance of our systems, as well as customer analyses and surveys.
If you are under 18, you must have parental or legal guardian consent before providing us with your personal data.
2. The source of personal data collected
The personal data processed by Norvital AS. is obtained from you when you register as mentioned in section 1.
Furthermore, data on gender and date of birth are collected for product development and to adapt our marketing, and data on address and telephone number when you have not entered this yourself. We collect the above-mentioned information from our partners Bisnode AS and Link Mobility AS.
3. Personal data to third parties
We may use subcontractors to handle the personal data collected. These subcontractors may be located in Norway or abroad. When using such subcontractors, we ensure that appropriate contractual safeguards are implemented in accordance with the applicable personal data regulations.
We may also share your personal data with companies in our group or with other companies that cooperate with us for purposes as mentioned in section 1, both inside and outside the EU/EEA. Provexin c/o Norvital AS is responsible for ensuring that the transfer of your personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations by means of intercompany regulations.
We may disclose your personal data to others where we are required or permitted to do so by law, or if you send us any material that is illegal.
4. Direct marketing via electronic communications.
As long as you are a customer of Norvital AS, we will use your personal data to send you offers and news about our products that we believe may be of interest. You can unsubscribe by following the instructions that we provide with each communication.
All personal data is stored in a secure environment. Our website utilises Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. This is one of the most advanced security technologies currently available for online transactions. It encrypts all your personal data so that it cannot be read as information over the Internet.
6. Rectifying and erasing data
If there is any personal data processed that is inaccurate, incomplete or that is not permitted to be processed, Norvital AS will independently or on your request rectify or erase the deficient information.
Your personal data will be erased/anonymised when there is no longer a need to store it at Norvital AS, unless further storage is necessary due to other regulations. Norvital AS conducts an assessment of the need for continued storage after termination of customer relationships. All personal data that is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose of storage will be erased/anonymised. Subsequent continued storage of personal data will either be justified by law or your consent.
7. Other questions
Norvital AS. represented by the General Manager is responsible for the processing of personal data as described above. The Personal Data Act grants you the right to ask us questions about what data we have stored about you, the source of that data, and how that data has been used. You have the right to obtain a copy of the data we have stored about you and to request that the data we have shall be erased, rectified or that the processing be restricted. In addition, you have the right to request to have your data transferred to another legal entity (data portability). Any such request must be made in writing and directed to the address below. We may change this privacy statement from time to time. This will be performed in order to meet changes in framework conditions, commercial needs, or to satisfy the needs of our customers, marketing partners and service providers. Updated versions will be published on our website and the date of the change will be displayed, so you are aware of when the last update took place.
